Based in Birmingham (UK), Avi identifies most with the rap, hip-hop, and R&B genres, but his boundary-defying approach regularly blends different aesthetics and genres, all while maintaining a cohesive sound. This is due to his sole involvement in each stage of the creative process: producing, songwriting, performing, and mixing—he does it all.

Growing up in the late 2000s and 2010s, Avi was drawn to the nostalgia-inducing club hits of the Y2K era while also finding inspiration in this generation's most influential creatives and storytellers. As such, his creative direction aims to mix the conceptual storytelling of an artist like Kendrick Lamar, the unique production value of a Travis Scott or Kanye West, and the heartfelt emotions found in old-school R&B.

"The AV Tapes Volume 0: Sorry I'm Late" acts as a prologue to the upcoming narrative series of mixtapes/ albums curated by Athe6th.

Volume 0 establishes the protagonist (Avi Invictus) and his relationship with his partner (Love Laurent) before he enters a deep sleep, where he experiences an alternate reality in which he is unfaithful to Love and, therefore, has to deal with the emotional consequences of this reality while in this dream state.

'Sorry I'm Late' is a subversive approach to an R&B mixtape in that, while it includes common themes like heartbreak and lust, it packages them in a sample-heavy, genre-spanning aesthetic that repurposes these melodies to fit the tape's theme (s).
